Happy October  : D

Meet Kim.
Kim has the strangest strainer I have ever seen.
 Tilapia Filet with Minced Garlic
served with Green and Red Peppers
 R.I.P Blender.
I used you every day. I loved you dearly.
Just days before you cracked I made this lovely chocolate strawberry milkshake smoothie.
Thank goodness for stocked canned food.
I hadn't been to the store in two weeks!
Put random things together? Everything I had left?

Garlic CousCous served with black beans and corn
Snickerdoodle Cupcakes

Not as impressed as I thought I would be. Don't think it's a keeper.

 Snickerdoodles :)

Yay for cooking with friends!

Philip took me to the store and then helped me make
Chicken and Dumplings
for the first time ever!

We also had sauteed spinach and tomatoes.

Yummy :)

I went overboard when I was buying buttermilk this week.
Good thing it freezes really well.
In the meantime I decided to invite three of my hungry friends over to try out a new recipe of buttermilk pancakes.

Served with small packets of syrup that are supposed to go with some version of frozen waffles.

Notice this is the only picture I could capture. They went pretty fast.

Chicken Noodle Soup for the rest of the week!

-water
-chicken breast
-bay leaf, pepper, salt, rosemary
-carrots
-celery
-mushrooms
-uncooked pasta

Cooking a lot = a lot of dishes

This is the third load of the day.

More soup!
Chicken Chili
with:
mushrooms
corn
green beans
spinach
chicken
white beans
seasoning packet
Muffins!
These were to use up more buttermilk and are really tasty.
I'll be eating them for breakfast for a while. Stashed some in the freezer.

Click this for the recipe!

My craziness with food is rubbing off on my dear brother.
Look at what he's doing back home!

He seems to have gotten my photography skills too. ;) JK bear.
This is an asian recipe he found online with chicken, garlic, snap peas, etc.

This is a wrap he made up for lunch one day.
He mixed taco seasoning with mayonnaise and used that a tasty sauce to compliment cheese, turkey, and salsa.
 Ladies, he's smart too.
Love you Ryan.
